Welcome to our website! We are Flathead Bread, bakers of artisan sourdough breads. Our wish is to make healthy and extremely delicious breads available to all of the wonderful people of the Flathead Valley. We utilize only the best flours in all of our breads. Flathead Bread uses flours from both Cairnspring Mills and Wheat Montana. We also mill our own whole wheat right her in house from organically grown wheat berries. This insures we do not lose any of those healthy bits that your body needs. Our doughs are long fermented, not only making them more tasty, but to make them more easily digestible for our customers.

Hi. I'm Wendy, baker at Flathead Bread. I was an attendee of the San Francisco Baking Institute and continue every winter season to further my baking education.

All our baked goods come from ingredients in the Flathead Valley if possible. Otherwise, we only use the freshest and best ingredients, natural and non-GMO. Come by and try a loaf or cookie or croissant.

Our Little Creston Bakery
Compact, efficient and growing
Our small bakery has no store front, but we still use a professional stone and steam bread ovens from Rackmaster. We also have an Italian industrial mixer from SunMix and a walk-in cooler and proofing room. Not a home kitchen, but not an industrial bakery either... just right for the moment of serving Farmer's markets and local events.
